关于如何利用碎片化的时间,阅读和写作当然是要集中注意力,在大块的时间内进行练习。

听力部分,走路时插上耳机,无论是听什么,单词or篇章,哪怕是泛听也能使自己的耳朵保持高灵敏度;曾经有一学神,放弃了骑车,每天用双腿奔波在校园里,用一个星期的时间听完了王玉梅单词的音频,之后几乎倒背如流(夸张了…)。笔者的听力是从十几分慢慢提升到现在,有一段时间听sss上瘾了,走路,坐车都在听,有一点,这样可以提高抗干扰能力。

口语部分,闲来无事自己和自己聊两句,身边发生了什么有趣的事情就顺口用英语表述出来,其实笔者至今没有准备过任何段子和模版,想到啥就说啥,不仅是为了托福考试,即兴能力在任何方面都有用,比如老师突然叫你做个简单的英语pre。

大学的课堂老师总喜欢聊一些好玩的事情,这时候的我或许就拿出记录单词的小本子看两眼了。总之,你难以想象1.1的365次幂和0.9的365次幂之间的差距。

阅读

单词题很重要!单词题!单词题!考试时错一个单词题就go die 到29了。考试时窃喜此次托福阅读异常简单,从头到尾顺风顺水,悲哀在单词题上。提醒各位托友,平时一定要保持良好的阅读感觉,闲来无事读一读英文书,哪怕是教课书,如此一来,就不会在考场上抓狂。笔者考试之前保持着每天一套官方真题Official阅读的频率,并且及时纠错与总结,分题型的总结,如修辞题易错,就刻意去关注所有篇章里的修辞题。很多童鞋认为六选三最难,但是当文章读明白之后,就恍然大悟。在看任何英语文章时,都要去理清楚文章的逻辑和机构。炉火纯青的地步是,拿到一篇阅读,不用翻译成汉语,而是自然地把它视为自己的母语来阅读和做题。

听力

平时近乎满分的笔者考试时能够清楚的听到旁边同学耳机里播放的内容,因此听力挂掉,错失110。 听力也是一个漫长积累的过程,笔者不建议听写,因为听懂的还是能听懂,不会的还是不会,并且浪费时间在写这一过程上,忽略了对逻辑的关注。每天花大量的时间在静听上,一篇lecture听将近10遍,两个小时,直到几乎每个词都能听懂,听明白为止。如此以来,听力将会有重大的提升。

口语

口语渣此处无任何话语权,默默离开……多说多练,发音不是一时半会能改正的东西,尽力就好,不要犯明显的错误,如th没有咬舌,w和v不分等

写作

综合写作的得分点在听力,请参照听力部分。

独立写作,笔者一直坚持着一个观点,当然也为一家之言,在保证语言质量的情况下,更多地字数能够将问题阐述的更清楚,大神们请忽略,因为一个问题,在保证逻辑清晰的同时,更多具体并且充实的例子能够让考官明白我们的思路。考前写够30篇,若有可能,逐一修改。多积累,多积累,多积累。多看范文,拓宽思路,也不要只是看,一定要心随着眼睛记住一些拓展思路的方法。

笔者的成绩不足以炫耀,一个是没有太多的时间准备,另一个是每天大量的课程、作业、课余事务占据了大量心思。能够集中大量时间,每天八个或者十个小时是突破托福最有效的方法。考场上心态要好(笔者听听力时简直要疯了)。托福,gre只要花费1000个小时,用心的1000个小时,是一定能搞的。愿各位统一战线上的小伙伴们杀托成功。

掌握托福语法 攻克630分

统计显示,托福考试中我国80%以上的考生语法成绩在听力、语法、阅读三部分中最好,而且托福成绩在630分以上的考生中半数以上获得了语法满分。因此我们请来专家针对考生的托福语法复习提供高分攻略找到事半功倍的解题方法。

同样的题目让同一考生用不同的方法去做,效率和准确率会有很大差别,这就是方法问题。好的方法可以做到事半功倍,好的方法首先应该弄清考查目的。这里以填空题目为例,填空部分考查的是考生的句法,因此句子的结构才是解题的关键,至于词义、句意,乃至语感都是相对次要的。而且,ETS为了让题目显得更难一些,在句子中加了许多对解题而言完全无用的话,这些话根本无需读懂,甚至根本没必要去读它们。

下面是填空题的完整做法:

(1)先找句子的分段点,即连词、介词、分词和标点符号,将句子分为几段,选择要看的那部分句子,即只关注空格所在的那部分句子。

(2)简化句子,简化原则是:以下句子成分可以直接划掉

1、介词短语(主句句首除外),即prep.+n.

2、作定语(修饰名词)的形容词或者分词短语

3、副词、冠词、数词

4、位于句首或句尾作状语的分词短语

5、与空格无关的句子

(3)分析句子结构,判断空格中所缺句子成分,给自己找一个选择答案的依据。

(4)对四个选项进行区分,结合句意和语感确定答案。

在熟练掌握和使用上述方法后,无论是难题还是简单题,都能很快找到问题的关键。

做题不在多而在精

有的考生习题做了一大筐,但准确率未有明显提高,这是为什么呢?这是因为这些考生做题时只是就题论题,做错了题只是对一下答案搞懂这道题就算完事了,下一次该怎么错还怎么错,根本没有任何提高。因此,做题不在于多而在于精,每次做错题后都要分析和总结ETS的考查目的,即考点,以后碰到类似题目不再犯同样的错误,这样才会有长足的进步。

无论句子形式或内容如何变化,考点是不变的,万变不离其宗,掌握一个考点等于掌握数十道题。因此,大家在做题过程中要有意识地去思考ETS这道题考查的是哪个考点,这一考点是否是自己的弱点,而千万不要为了做题而做题,应争取做每一道题都有所思考和收获。

托福考试备考资料:语法笔记

分析:动词believe 的用法:直接加that引导的宾语从句。这里that为连接adv.,在句中不作任何成分,其后接完整句。

分析:缺宾语,答案中只有B,D可以作宾语,但D的语序不对。
