Coming with the rapid development of economy and globalization, the population around the world has boosted; although it can be regarded as the labor force to contribute, the problems are looming.
Referring to the most significant impact, the densely-populated area leads to a great number of pollution issues. To be specific, to reach the level of metropolises, major cities attract more people to live and work, while such centralization combines with the over-industrialization to satisfy the public’s needs, which could produce enormous waste, like urban garbage which is almost impossible to degrade. Meanwhile, the more people the society has, the more difficult promoting their awareness of environmental protection would be; as a result, pollution, including water, exhaust gas and even soil, becomes more serious, and the impact following would be expended to reduce the biodiversity.
At the same time, the distribution of resources is also worth considering. Natural resources, obviously, have been consumed by the mass; lots of non-renewable energy is exhausted, which means that the energy crisis, now, has been a life-threatening problem. What the society should think about is not only the nature, but also the resources that everyone can have in education, medicine and social welfare. It is undeniably that the finite resources are not enough to guarantee that the individual could share the equal access as they do when there would be less people, which also brings the fact that the authorities should undertake huger responsibilities and burden in management and finance.
In conclusion, people as the main power to construct the society, but the consequence of overpopulation is a generally acknowledge fact that might destroy the future; thus, humans need to figure out a way to balance the development of ourselves and the world we live.

There are several reasons why the youngsters tend to be more competent when dealing with technological changes. First of all, younger generation is capable of using technology because courses related to computer-skill learning have long been adopted as a mandatory course for many primary and secondary schools. Those students are cultivated to have both searching skills and analytical skills, moreover, they are capable of tackling difficulties that are relevant to software as well as hardware. In addition, many businesses prefer to recruit junior employees because they are more sensitive to new trends in the market place, mainly because their frequent use of social networking. Hence, a company may prosper with young technicians who can excel professionally and create more values.
Admittedly, senior employees may possess more edges over the young. With better cognitive skills such as big-picture thinking and long-term vision, they would take every perspective into consideration before making crucial decisions based on years of work, which would be conducive to the long-run development of the organization. However, as the ideas of innovation and technological transformation are becoming prevailing, the elders may find it difficult to readapt to the pace of work as many of them are unwilling to accept such change in their fields.
In conclusion, though the old tend to be well-experienced in the workplace, young people are more capable of adopting new technical innovations and make contribution.

In the contemporary society, most countries tend to allocate parts of budget for the renovation of old buildings, in particular, these with historic meanings and regarded as the landmark of a region, like Forbidden City in Beijing, because the value of culture behind is priceless, and the technique used represents our ancestors’ talents and the construction level at that time and can never be duplicated, by which the archaeology would be promoted significantly.
Coming along with the culture and historic values, the existence of old building strengthens people s sense of identity. Unlike the high-rises and skyscrapers, which almost look the same all around the world, those architectural heritages withstood the test of time and display the unique architectural design of a region or period. Nonetheless, it must be admitted that government’s funding on the furnishing new residences and road development does generate several benefits. For one thing, inhabitants have chances to live in houses with a comfortable environment and reasonable layout. For another thing, more highways can be built to connect surrounding cities and suitable road planning can be implemented to satisfy the demands of public transportation. In spite of theses, historical buildings deserve public funding for its protection; otherwise, parts of human civilization would vanish in the years to come.
In conclusion, I firmly claim that it is the obligation of government to focus on the restoration of old building as they are symbols of traditional culture and reflect the history of a country.
