Last Monday, while checking the calendar, I realized my grandpa’s birthday was approaching. What would be a good surprise gift for him this year?
While I was racking my brain for an idea, memories of the time I spent with Grandpa fishing and playing football or chess all flooded back. It suddenly hit me that I could make a photo album to record those precious moments. Without any delay, I threw myself into the creation of the album. I turned on the computer, carefully selected some photos and designed each page. Finally, an album of love was born. Looking at each photo, I couldn’t help imagining how delighted Grandpa would be.
At the birthday party, when I presented the album to Grandpa, he hugged me affectionately, tears welling up in his eyes. My parents smiled happily.
The album serves not only as a gift to show my respect and appreciation to my dear Grandpa on this special day, but reminds me that I should spend more time with him.

Currently children are in a competitive environment, struggling for high scores and ideal universities. Parents always expect their kids to stay on top by being more strict with them, just like swinging the rope to a higher frequency and meanwhile, burdening them with more books. In this way, they hope to develop their kids' strength and will power to achieve success.
This sort of training, however, is too tough for the kids to withstand. If kids can do better in a more relaxing way, why keep them on pins and needles, which only makes them hate study? The efficiency will be considerable if kids are allowed to follow their own pace of study.
Therefore, it's better for parents to allow their children to develop their own way of study.

The longing summer vacation is approaching, it is the best part of the school year for me. I cannot let the holidays elapse (逝去) meaninglessly, my vacation should be a phase (时期、阶段) of harvest. The events in my plan should give me a sense of infinite potential.
The following plan may reveal the intensity of my desire to travel, work and study in this vacation. In the first few days I want to climb Mount Hua Shan with several friends to refresh ourselves. Then I tend to visit relatives, senior school teachers and former classmates(老同学). Besides, to find out the best ways to cultivate my abilities, I will find a part time job and conduct some social investigation.
In short, I want to do interesting things in the summer vacation. Whatever I do, the goal is the same: to get necessary experience, acquire knowledge and broaden my horizons. Though the six week vacation will pass away at lightning speed, its influence is bound to last long.
I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.
I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.
