Then I beginto learn English by listening to VOA and BBC. There are so many interestingstories in these programs. And the hostesses are very excellent. I can alwayssleep well with their beautiful voices. At weekend, I usually have aget-together with my close friends to share our life experience. Sometimes wealso go out for a walk, so as to enjoy our beautiful nature. In short, I usuallyarrange a lot of activities for myself in my free time, because I want to makemy life more wonderful and interesting.

Today is Arbor-Day.Our school arranged us to go to the near hills to plant trees. We start atseven o’clock in the morning. It took us half an hour to get to thedestination. The moment we arrived, we began to work as arranged before. Some dugholes, some put trees in the hole, some put the earth back to the hole, whileothers watered the trees. When we planted all the trees, it’s already one o’clockin the afternoon. We were all hungry and tired but happy and proud.

Ona rainy day, I failed in the Chinese. When I was crying quietly in the rain, Qiaorongcame and told me, “Don’t be sad, no cross no crown. Believe that where there isa will, there is a way. Cheer up! I believe you'll succeed sooner orlater." With these words, she patted me on the shoulder and took me intothe classroom. Later, the rain stopped, and I saw beautiful rainbow appear and thesun was shining. Everything became wonderful and l gave her a big smile.
Sincethen we have been the best friends. We share happiness and sorrow with eachother. We work hard together and have made great progress.

However, many people do too many meaninglessthings to kill their time, such as playing computer, watching TV, or gossiping.When you do these things, the time has long been unwittingly flowed away. In myopinion, the best way to make full use of time is planning your time rationallyand sticking the plan firmly. Spending more time on something significant notonly will make your life fulfilling, but also will give you a sense ofaccomplishment. Instead, killing your time with meaningless things would bringyou depression even despair. Remember that those who abandon time will be alsoabandoned by time.
如果你问我什么东西是最宝贵的，我会说是时间。它是你一旦失去就再也得不到的东西。因此，我们都应该学会珍惜时间，把时间用在有意义的事情上。但是，很多人却做了许多无意义的事情来消磨时光，比如玩电脑、看电视或者说闲话。当你在做这些事情的时候，时间早已在不知不觉间流走了。在我看来，最好的珍惜时间的做法是合理安排时间，并坚决按照计划行事。把时间用在有意义的事情上，不仅会让你的生活更充实，也会给你带来成就感。相反，若是用那些无聊的事情消磨时间，则可能会让你觉得沮丧甚至绝望。记住，抛弃时间的人，时间也抛弃他。
