Last term, I started to like comic, pop music. Lots of superstars are my idols. Such as Conan, Jay, Syusuke and so on. But my mum dislikes them. She wants me to study diligently. I have such kind of experience. One day, when I was reading Harry potter with great interest. My mum shouted, "This is a fantastic book, you should do your homework" How depressed I was at that time. So, I always feel uncomfortable when staying with my mum. I think my mum is too serious and too strict with me, and she seldom gives me freedom.

Today, lots of parents hope their children become talent, if we study without any rest, they will be happy. My mum always talks to me,"It's time to learn English, it's time to read Chinese text book." Our high score will be a great satisfaction to our parents. If we lose the high score in our single examination, they will be angry. Besides this, they are angry at our choices in comic, in music and even our way of speech. Mum, Dad, Do you know, they are not bad things, and they are our happiness.

If we plan to do something of ourselves, we had better try our parents understand us. If our parents see that we have high sense of responsibility, they will certainly give us the right to do what we want to do.

As is known to us all, teachers play an important role in our process of growing up. As far as I am concerned, an ideal teacher should be responsible, impartial and wise.

First of all, a qualified teacher should be responsible. For one thing, he should try his best to make his class interesting and try to understand what his students need. For another, he needs to keep enthusiastic with his job of spread knowledge all the time and act as an example for others everywhere he goes to.

Second, be impartial is another requirement. As a teacher, he should not divide students into good ones and bad ones since each student has unique characteristic and value. Therefore, no matter what kind of students he encounters, he should treat them impartially, without any bias.

第二，是公正的另一个要求是。作为一名老师，他不应该把学生分成好学生和坏学生这两类因为每个学生都有自己独特的个性和价值。因此，无论他遇到的是什么样的学生，他都应该公平地对待他们，没有任何偏见。

Finally, my ideal teacher is one who does not only teach students his specialized knowledge but also can give students some guidance about life and about how to act as human beings. This guidance has a great effect on students’ outlook on life and sense of worth.

最后，我的理想老师是不仅会教学生专业知识同时也是可以给学生一些关于生活的引导以及如何做人的人。这种引导会对学生的人生观和价值观有很大的影响。

To sum up, an ideal teacher should not only pay attention to the achievements his students get, but also put emphasis on developing students’ correct views on life and sense of worth.

总而言之，理想的教师不仅要关注自己学生获得的成就，也要强调培养学生正确的人生观和价值观。

Stepping into the new century， environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as， water pollution， air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a large extend， the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel， people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. Countless private cars on the street， the gas stations are short of gasoline， even the government has raise the price so many times in order to control the needs of gasoline， but it’s still not working. Overusing the natural resources has already affected the ecological balance. However， the factories still release the toxic air into the sky and the polluted water into the rivers. People still lack of the conscious of protecting the environment. I think it’s time for all of us to do something.

The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way， our earth could be a better place to live in.

进入新世界以来，环境污染比任何时候都要严峻。有各式各样的污染：水污染，空气污染，噪音污染等等。看起来我们活着一个四周都是污染源的星球。那么，这些污染是从何而来的呢?在很大程度上，环境被破坏就是我们为快速的经济增长和人口增加所付出的惨烈代价。为了得到更多的能源，人们砍伐树木，挖更多的煤矿，但是还是难以维持日益增长的需求。不计其数的私家车充斥着公路，加油站的汽油严重短缺，政府多次上调油价也未能阻止私家车对汽油的需求。自然资源的过度利用已经影响到了生态平衡。然而，工厂依旧向外排放有毒气体，把工业废水倒入河里。人们依旧缺乏保护环境的意识。我认为人们应该做些事情了。

政府应该施行一些更为严格的法律来防止环境被进一步的破坏掉。他们应该让人们了解到保护环境的重要性。我们要在保持经济发展和环境保护中找到平衡点。在沙漠中植树造林，停止砍伐森林。禁止工厂往河流里直接排放废水。鼓励人们用交通工具上班。政府和普通民众都应该携手保护环境，让我们的家园变得干净整洁。只有这样，我们的地球才能更适合人类居住。
