雅思口语考试是什么
聊天是最放松的一种方式,着重在将自己的想法表达清楚。但是,雅思口语考试中的聊天,在我眼中,又与我们的日常对话不同。在日常生活中,大家聊天习惯处于被动的位置。当对方问了一个问题或者说了一句话,你可能立马还有一个回答接上,但是,这个回答在我们的表达中往往是很简单直白的。然后,你可能再问对方一个,对方接着给出一个简单的回答,以此类推。这种形式在于陌生人的聊天中是非常常见的,中国人好像普遍认为跟陌生人没什么好聊的。
在雅思口语口试当中,考生和考官彼此都不熟悉甚至完全不认识,当考生习惯上述的交流习惯的话,在考试当中往往就处于下风了。简单地说,站在考官的角度来看,这个考试是他的任务,是有严格时间限制的。考官基本是没有那么有耐心地跟你一句话一句话来交流的。所以,雅思口语考试的聊天形式要更高级一点。学生需要在这短短的十分钟左右的时间内掌握主动权,将考官所问的问题回答的更加丰富详实。这是在这场“高级”的聊天形式中,作为考生,首先需要做到的。其次,雅思口语考试的评分是有标准的(流利度和连贯性,语法,词汇,发音),考生在和考官的互动聊天过程中一定不要将这四个评分标准完全扔到脑后了。当然,对于评分标准中对应的学生强弱项,尤其是弱项,需要学生在考前花大量时间进行反复练习。最后,我个人认为是在聊天过程当中非常重要的,就是不可以答非所问。导致考生答非所问的原因,其实也不外乎与学生的词汇、发音、语法等相关,当然学生的听力此时也起着至关重要的作用。英语对于几乎每一个中国考生都是一门外语,而且,在学生近10年的英语学习生涯中,开口交流的机会是非常非常少的,所以在考前的练习过程中不能忽略听力的练习,比如不同国家的口音考生是否能够分辨清楚,以及英文中的各种发音现象比如连读和弱读等又是否能够听得出来。这些同时也直接影响到你在和考官的聊天中是否能听懂对方的问题。
综上所述,雅思口语考试是一种聊天,但又不仅限于简单的聊天。在这近十分钟的聊天时间内,考生必须尽可能详细地向考官表达自己的观点想法,向考官展示其表达交流能力。
