参考范文:Describe your dream house
1. Why do people change their places of living? 为什么人们要搬家?
Well, I guess there can be plenty of reasons for that. For example, people can do it in search of a better way of life because they find the places they live in boring and uninspiring. Or there can be too many bad memories attached to their place of living connected with somebody's divorce or death, which pushes people to move to a different house or apartment. Sometimes people change their place of living for a better employment moving from the rural area to the city or from a small town to the capital. In terrible cases people can do it for safety reasons trying to escape from war zones or polluted areas posing threat for health. Quite seldom but still people also change their places of living just because they need a change, nothing more nor less.
2. Do most people in your country live in a flat or a house? 你们国家的大部分人住公寓还是别墅?
Well, the majority of people live in flats 'cause it usually involves less costs and provides more security as there are a lot of people around. What is more, it is more comfortable to live in flats because they are usually located in the city. so it doesn't take too much time to get to the city centre and there are no problems with shopping for basic essentials because of availability of convenience stores. One more factor which attracts people to living in flats is the fact that flats already have all necessary facilities such as power and water backup, uninterrupted supply of cooking gas and so on. Though there are also quite people in my country opting for living in houses mainly because houses usually have more living as well as outside space and provide people with greater degree of freedom.
3. At what age do people in your country start living independently? 你国家的人在什么年纪开始独立生存?
I guess it can happen at any age when people start making enough money to afford to pay for a flat and utilities. Young people usually leave their parents' families in order to learn not only to earn money but also how to manage their own life. set priorities and take challenges. They start living independently to learn more about themselves, be able to make decisions by themselves and take responsibility for these decisions. Though, there are also young people who leave their parents' apartment in order to get the ultimate freedom to wind down and relax and forget about the pressure of having constant family duties to fulfill.
4. Do people in your country mostly buy their own home or do they rent their home? 你们国家的人大多数情况下是自己买房还是租房?
Well, I guess both. Those who have enough money mostly buy accommodation 'cause it's a kind of investment in their future. What is more, home ownership is something that. on the one hand. gives them and their families a sense of stability and security and, on the other hand, provides with freedom to do whatever they want both inside and outside dispensing them with the necessity of having humiliating, awkward and frustrating relationships with landlords. But there are also a lot of countrymen who don't have enough money or want to be more flexible their lifestyle having a wish to pick up and leave pretty quickly, and they always opt for renting their home considering home ownership an expense.

5. Do you think the design of a home is important? 你认为房子的设计重要吗?
Oh yeah, it is. I guess it is, first of all, important because it plays the key role in the building's functionality. I mean a good design can make even a really small flat or house functional and cosy. I also think that being surrounded by comfort and beauty unequivocally makes our daily experiences better and increases our satisfaction not only short but also long term making us productive and happy. So, no doubt, home design is of great importance.
6. What makes a location suitable for old people to live? 什么地方适合老年人居住?
Oh, access to good health care, first of all. In some cases climate if there are some pressure problems, for instance. I would also add proximity to family and friends in order to keep in touch and not feel lonely. One more important thing that comes to my mind is low crime rates which can make old people's life calmer and more relaxed. And, of course, accessibility and good amenities of the neighborhood.
7. What makes a location suitable for young people to live? 什么地方适合年轻人居住?
Well, I guess affordability, first of all. I mean housing expenses, the prices for consumable goods, the price of petrol if the young have cars and the price of utility services and taxes. Next, education system and employment opportunities if they are career oriented and have kids of school age, And, of course, accessibility, appearance and amenities of the neighbourhood. I commute time and public transport options for those who don't have private cars, and cultural offerings like galleries, concert halls, theatres and so on for those who take care of their leisure time.
8. In what ways can buildings be more 'environmentally friendly’? 建筑的那些方面更环保?
Well, in order to make existing buildings more 'environmentally friendly' we, first of all, need to turn off any lights or appliances when we don't use them. buy only recyclable containers, reuse plastics for food storage and eliminate the extensive use of the television or the Internet. We also need to try to eliminate the products that have a negative impact on the environment, choose energy efficient appliances for homes and use eco-friendly lighting. If people are only starting to build a house and want to make it environmentally friendly, I guess they should think about using sustainable building materials and insulation, installing solar panels and programmable thermostat as well as try reusing old materials such as wood floors, doors and windows. I guess it’s the main stuff they have to do.
雅思口语话题Part3范文:a favorite sport you watched
参考范文:Describe a favorite sport which you watched
1. What do old people in your country do to keep fit? 在你的国家,老人如何健身?
Oh, plenty of stuff, actually. They try to stay active as long as possible. The elderly does morning exercises on a regular basis, choose the stairs over the elevator, walk a lot. do garden work and play with their grandchildren. All these actions make them move a lot and train their muscles in everyday routine. Some old people think it's not enough and add doing functional fitness exercises to improve different types of movements necessary for daily life. They train bend-and-lift movements to be able to squat down to lift a shopping bag of groceries from the floor, single-leg movement for climbing and descending stairs, pushing movements for lifting the torso from a side-living position, pulling movements for being able to pull the car door and rotational movements to be able to reach across the body. The most active old people jog, swim and cycle as well.
2. How are the Olympic players trained in your country? Do they usually start training when they are born?
Well, I don't think that training for the games starts when the Olympic players are born, but what I am sure of, it starts many years before the event and demands a lot of efforts. I think that players in my country are trained more or less the same way as in the rest of the world, and it seems to me they devote huge amounts of time to physical training. They also work extensive sports psychologists to mentally for the event, eat properly and sleep tor 8-10 hours a day.
3. Why does somebody dislike to watch the Olympic Games? 为什么有人不喜欢看奥运会?
Well, I think on a large scale because of the commercialization of the Games and the fact that the Olympics are no longer a sporting contest but a contest of sponsors. Or, maybe, because people don't have that much time to watch al the sports and games, especially if there are only a few sports at the Olympics they care about. Oh, well, there can be one more reason for this, I think, the fact that their country doesn't participate in the contest, which makes watching it senseless.
4. Why do young people do less sports than their parents? Well, I guess, first of all, because young people unlike their parents are not aware of health benefits and psychological bonuses sport can bring them. It can also be so because the young are very busy_ these days. which leads to the fact that exercise can sometimes be the last thing on their To Do list with a schedule filled with different classes and after-school activities. I guess, these are the main reasons.

参考范文:Describe an activity near the sea (延用)
1. What kind of people like rest near the sea? 哪些人喜欢住在海边?
Oh, I guess, first of all, hard-working and active people who need to dispel stress and bring about a blissful state of calm as well as those who love the tranquil and serene seaside ambience together with laid back lifestyle of small beach towns. 2. What other activities can people do in and near the sea? 住海边的人可以有哪些其他活动?
Well, the possibilities are endless. I guess everything depends on whether a person feels exhausted or energetic, and whether they like active or passive pastimes. For example, those people who don't want to run and jump may simply sunbathe, walk along the shoreline, smelling the sea breeze, listening to seagulls and collecting shells. They can also try taking a boat trip or floating on a raft. Those who can't doing nothing may play volleyball or Frisbee on the beach or go swimming, diving, snorkeling, windsurfing or fly boarding in the water. I am more sure that everyone can find something to their liking by the sea.
3. What is the difference between the activities that young and old people choose to do near or in the sea? 年轻人和老年人选择海边或海里的活动有什么不同?
Well, I wouldn't say there is a huge difference in activities which younger and older generations opt for while having a rest beside the sea 'cause age isn't an obstacle to, let's say, swimming, snorkeling or even canoeing to say nothing of sunbathing, walking along the shoreline or playing beach volleyball. The only thing the elderly avoid on the beach unlike the young is extreme water like fly boarding and jet skiing. Nothing more, to my mind.
4. Do old people enjoy spending time near the sea? 老年人喜欢在海边度过时光吗?
I guess they do, as rest beside the sea is always calming and refreshing, which most elderly people like and need. What is more, it has plenty of therapeutic properties. For example, seawater and air boost the immune system and considerably increase the body's ability to fight infections and kill parasite bacteria and fungus. They also improve blood circulation, which is especially important late in life, as well as many elderly’s sleep better. All in all, they contribute to people's overall health and that’s how they engage old people’s hearts.
5. Is it popular to go to the seaside in your country? 在你们国家,去海边(玩)很流行吗?
Oh yeah, it is very popular in my country to go to the seaside and spend at least a week a year beside the sea. I guess because sea rest is great for both physical and mental health, and also because there are ample recreational activities at any seaside resort. Re the sea is so sought-after in my country because there are ample recreational activities at any seaside resort. Rest near the sea is so sought-after in my country because it contributes to people's overall health, boosts the immune system, treats emotional disorders, relaxes muscles and nerves and induces calmness. It helps people completely rejuvenate the mind and body making them alert and active and letting them feel relaxed and energised. So, yeah, all my compatriots try to get to the seaside at least for a short period of time.
6. What are the advantages and disadvantages of spending time near the sea? 在海边度过时光的好处和缺点是什么?
Oh, I am a bit confused as I don't see any cons of having a rest by the sea except for its cost. To my mind, spending time near the sea has only pros as it promotes physical, psychological and emotional wellbeing. It is calming and refreshing the one hand, and can be active and fun, on the other hand. One way or another it lets people feel relaxed and energised, and, as a result, makes them happy it's definitely beneficial in terms of improved health and life satisfaction.
