still用法
still可以用作副词
still用作副词时,意思是“还,仍旧,尚”。对想象中应该结束的动作或状态还在继续表示“惊讶”; 或是强调始于过去的动作或状态仍在继续,且含有“到目前为止”的意思,所以多用于一般现在时态和现在进行时态。still用在肯定句中,须放在助动词、情态动词后面,行为动词之前; still用在否定句中,须放在助动词和情态动词之前,当助动词是be时,把still放在助动词前面或后面都可以,有时还可放在直接宾语之后。still可修饰比较级,作“还要,更”解。
still用作副词的用法例句
Although she felt ill, she still went to work.她虽然觉得身体不舒服，但仍然去上班了。
Although he is eighty,he is still very much alive.他虽有八十岁了,但仍然充满了活力。
The whole world stood still righ there.全世界在这时静止了。
still用法例句
1、English has hurt me a thousand times, but I still regard it as my first love.

2、As a group, today's old people are still relatively deprived.

Still的用法和注意点
一、形容词still作“静”、“寂静的”、“静止的”讲
1.still water静水;still lemonade无气柠檬水
2.All sounds are still.万籁俱寂。
3.Please keep still while I take the photograph!我拍照时请别动!
二、“副词still+比较级”表示“还要或更……”之意
In appearance this computer is still better than that one.从外表上看，这台计算机比那台更好。
【注】有时也可用"比较级+still"意思同上。
三、副词still作“仍旧”、“仍然”讲
If heat is still added, the temperature of the boiling water does not rise any more.如果水再加热，沸水的温度也不会上升。
四、副词still修饰全句，作"可是...还..."讲
The weather is very hot;still is not unbearable.天气很热，但还不是令人受不了。
五、动词still作"使得……平静"讲
Anything cannot still the sea.任何东西都不能使海洋平静下来。
六、词组still less(何况)，still more(况且)分别用于否定和肯定句
1. He never thought of the test flight, still less did he conduct it. 他从没想到这次试飞，更谈不上去做了。
2.He repairs the machine ,still more does he set it to pieces.他会修理机器，那就更会拆机器了。
七、同音词still(n.)作"蒸馏釜"讲
The liquid remaining in the still contains much free acid.蒸馏釜内剩下的液体含有许多游离酸。
八、几点注意
Ⅰ.注意still的词序及在比较级前出现作"还要更加"讲。
1.He is standing still.他站着不动。(形容词)
2.He is still standing.他仍然站着。(副词)
3.For some time to comer then, we can still safely say that human brains are still complex than computers.那么在未来一段时间内，我们仍可放心地
说，人脑比计算机还要(或更加)复杂。
Ⅱ.注意still less，still more在否定和肯定句中用法(见上述第六项)。
Ⅲ.still除作名词、动词用外，在其他大部分情况下作"仍然"讲。

03yet和still做副词的区别yet和still都用来谈论一段时间以来那些已经(或还没)发生的事。
但是它们的意义和使用语境是有区别的：
yet主要用来指一个人等待和期待的事情，但到目前为止还没有发生过。
最常见于否定句和疑问句，一般在句子末尾：
(也可以放在主动词，或表语前，相对少见)
Have you assigned a day for the interviews yet?
你安排好面试的日子了吗?
I haven't thought about marriage yet.
我还没想过结婚。
We haven't come to a decision on the matter yet.
我们还没有就此事做出决定。
The child is not yet able to write.

yet用在肯定句，主要表达有待将来的事。
The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.
过去是无法改变的。未来仍在你的掌控之中。
The cut-off date for registering is yet to be announced.
登记截止日期尚未公布。
The agendas for the next two meetings have yet to be worked out.
下两次会议的议程有待制定。
still主要用来指那些从过去开始一直持续到现在的事情。
最常见于肯定句和疑问句，一般位于句子中间(主动词，表语前)：
Does he still work here?
他还在这里工作?
He is still busy; he has not finished his work yet.
他还在忙，他的工作还没有完成。
I can't drive yet, I'm still learning.
我还不会开车，我还在学呢。
Those bananas aren't ripe yet - they're still green.

They all talk about things around the present, but they don't mean the same.

We use still to talk about something that hasn't finished. Are you still studying? Let's go out!

We use already to talk about something that has finished, and maybe we didn't think it would have by now. She's already finished work. She's gone home.
already则用来表示已经做完的或我们认为目前不会发生的事。她已经把工作做完并且回家了。
We use yet in questions and negatives to talk about things that haven't happened, but we think they will. Haven't you left yet? You'll be late!
yet用于疑问句或否定句中，表示尚未发生但我们认为会发生的事。你怎么还没走?你要迟到了!
So just remember: Things that are still happening, haven't finished. Things that have already happened, have finished and things that are yet to happen, haven't started.
