various可以用作形容词
various的基本意思是“各种不同的,各种各样的”,指具有各种不同特征的,强调种类或种数的不同,强调事物的多样性,在句中多用作定语,偶尔也可用作表语。
various还可作“一些,若干”解,指有好几个、很多或多方面的,作此解时,无比较级和最高级形式,在句中只能用作定语。
various一般不能形容词作代词用，后面的名词一般不能省略，如：在various of them，various of the rooms，various have said so等表达中，various用作代词，这种用法尽量少用。
