我家的生活一天比一天好，随之产生的垃圾也越来越多，于是，我就想到了垃圾分类。我想：如果把这些垃圾分类，就会起到了保护环境的作用。
既然想到了就做。正好，那天妈妈不在家，我就把家里的垃圾好好分分类。那些能回收的废纸、纸箱、饮料瓶等，能回收的东西，放在袋子里，准备送到废品收购站去。再把不能回收的柴草、废塑料等，添到火炉里烧掉然后把菜叶等不能回收也不能烧掉的垃圾装到垃圾箱。这时，我发现了几节用过的旧电池，这个可难坏我了，不知道是扔了，还是回收。于是，我上网查询回收废电池的办法。
这时，妈妈回来了，看到家里被我收拾的干干净净，整整齐齐，很惊讶，急忙问我怎么回事?我便把垃圾分类的过程和妈妈说了一遍，然后又告诉妈妈垃圾分类的好处。妈妈高兴地直夸我是个好孩子。
